以 ATM为基础的无源光网络 ( ATM- PON)是未来实现宽带、多业务综合接入的重要技术手段。本文分析了 ATM- PON( APON)系统的基本结构和各个组成部分、所支持的业务、实现系统所需要解决的关键技术及实现方法 ,同时对系统设计时所需考虑的一些重要问题进行了探讨。
An ATM-based Passive Optical Network (ATM-PON) is an important technical means for realizing broadband and multi-service integrated access in the future. This paper analyzes the basic structure and components of the ATM-PON (APON) system, the services it supports, the key technologies needed to achieve the system and its implementation, and discusses some important issues to be considered when designing the system .
