The form of the couplet is short and concise, which is both a vivid form of artistic expression and an excellent cultural heritage. Exquisite couplets are often seen in schools. The most common one is Guo Mo-ruo’s inscription for Tao Xingzhi: “Thousands of teachers teach people to be true; Thousands learn to be a real person”
