去年8月,江苏省东台市新东乡农民徐正才的家属给编者寄来一封火急求救信。信中写道,经江苏省肿瘤医院诊断,徐的肝左叶癌肿已如鸡蛋大小,预期最多能活3个月。徐理解自己的病情和预后,提出唯一的要求是“让我不痛地了此一生”。经协助联系,找到沈阳市抗癌止痛研究所并及时给患者寄去中药“速效止痛拔癌膏”,徐正才贴敷治疗后肝区即不再觉疼痛,食欲增加,体力明显恢复。90天后去医院复查,肝左叶癌肿缩小到只有蚕豆大。目前,徐正才仍在康复中。编者查找文献得知,70％的晚期癌症以疼痛为主要症状;癌症死亡病例统计也展示,87.8％的患者死前被疼痛所折磨。全世界每年至少有350万(中国有上百万)癌症患者要经受癌痛的摧残。
In August last year, the family of Xinzheng farmers in Xindong Township, Dongtai City, Jiangsu Province sent an urgent request for help. The letter wrote that after diagnosis by the Jiangsu Provincial Tumor Hospital, Xu’s left hepatic cancer was like an egg and he expected to live for up to 3 months. Xu understands his condition and prognosis, and puts forward that the only requirement is “Let me not lose this life”. After assisting in contact, the Institute of Anticancer and Analgesia in Shenyang City was found and promptly sent to the patient to take the Chinese medicine “Quick-acting analgesic and anti-cancer cream”. After Xu Zhengcai applied the treatment, he felt no pain in the liver area, increased his appetite, and recovered his physical strength. After going to the hospital for review 90 days later, the left hepatic cancer was reduced to only large beans. At present, Xu Zhengcai is still recovering. The editors found that 70% of advanced cancers had pain as the main symptom; statistics of cancer deaths also showed that 87.8% of patients died of pain before death. Every year, at least 3.5 million (China has millions) of cancer patients worldwide suffer from cancer pain.
