In this experiment, bioelectrical activity in the inner ear and the earplugs were used as indexes to observe the prevention of ototoxicity caused by sodium thiosulfate on cisplatin (CDDP). Experimental guinea pigs divided into three groups, each 10. The control group was injected with normal saline and the positive control was injected with CDDP 2 mg / kg. The prophylaxis group was given 800 mg / kg of sodium thiosulfate and given CDDP 2 mg / kg. The three groups were administered intraperitoneally once a day for 6 days. Results: (1) The amplitude of auditory nerve action potentials and cochlear microphones caused by short-sightedness of 0 ~ 80dB in the ear were higher in the prevention group than in the positive control group, but both were lower than that in the control group; In the positive control group, most of the cochlear hair cells in each animal were severely damaged in their hair cells. Prevention of cochlear lesions was only limited to the bottom. The results show that sodium thiosulfate can reduce the ototoxicity of CDDP, which provides a new research approach for the prevention and treatment of deafness caused by CDDP.
