炎陵“水晶梨”,品名为新世纪梨,主产于我省炎陵县境内。果实7月下旬成熟;果实圆形,单果重150克~160克;果皮黄绿色,果肉质脆,汁多味甜,可溶性固形物12%~13.5%。炎陵县引进台湾的高档梨栽培技术,实行棚架式、果实套袋等技术后,即为炎陵“水晶梨”。果皮变为乳白光润,果肉纯白色,细嫩多汁,味甜、芳香,可与进口“水晶梨”媲美。在栽培上应注意的问题是:
