In December 1999, I was selected by the school as a member of the Chinese delegation of ethnic minorities to visit the United States and set foot on the other side of the ocean. Nine days of interviews, there are many unforeseen gains. Almost all those who’ve been to Washington have this feeling: Washington is beautiful and clean. At the beginning of the construction of the city, the designers just wanted to regard it as a political center. Therefore, the whole city is small, noisy and no pollution of the industry, showing a quiet and clean atmosphere. Weekends, most people go out to drive outside the original population of the city did not seem more quiet. When we arrived at the Lincoln Memorial, 2322 people looked back at Lincoln.
