隐身技术实质上是目标特征信号的控制技术,通过各种技术途径控制,实现降低飞机、导弹和其他武器装备所产生的特征信号,使其难以被发现、识别,免于遭受攻击或大大降低被敌人攻击的概率,提高飞机、巡航导弹等武器系统的突防能力、生存能力而发挥作战效能。飞机、导弹等武器的主要特征信号有可见的几何形状信号、机载雷达特征信号、热力学上的红外特征信号、磁特征信号、声频特征信号和电磁辐射等方面的特征信号等。降低和减少这些特征信号主要用设计技术、材料技术、信息技术、电磁场理论和物理、化学中消除或减小声、光、电、热、力学方面所产生的信号特征。
Stealth technology is essentially the control technology of the target characteristic signal.
