随着我国石油地质普查勘探工作的日益发展,中、新生代陆相含油气盆地的研究工作也在不断深入。在研究工作中,应用某一种构造地质理论,尤其是引进一些新的构造理论,必然可以启发我们的思路,促使研究工作更为深入。但是也应该看到,一些不同派别的构造理论,往往分别强调了某一种某一类构造现象或特点,而忽略了着眼于我国许多陆相盆地在普查勘探过程中所积累的大量地质资料和它所显示的许多盆地的共同性。实践表明,我国若干大型或中、小型陆相含油气盆地的地质构造、沉积建造和含油气性均独具特征。进一步探索盆地的形成机理、发展规律、划分对比,研究盆地的沉积模式、成盆成油期和进行远景预测评价,是为继续在陆相盆地中扩大和发现新的油气田(藏)所必不可少的研究内容。
