少年军校是指国家对少年进行国防教育的训练机构,有些国家亦称军事中学。少年军校是在普通中学、小学教育的基础上,通过学习军事知识和进行军事训练,对少年进行国防教育和爱国主义教育,有的则是对学生进行养成教育和纪律教育。世界许多国家都办有各种各样的少年军校,有些国家的少年军校比较正规,已经纳入了本国军事院校体系,为培养军官服务。在“六·一”儿童节来临之际,本刊特编发一组有关国家少年军校的稿件,以便读者对少年军校的情况有个初步了解。
