油用亚麻,也称胡麻。属于亚麻科、亚麻属、普通亚麻种,为一年生草本植物。是我国华北、西北高寒、半干旱地区主要油料作物,全国栽培面积800万亩左右。实践证明:油用亚麻具有抗低温、耐干旱、耐瘠薄、生育期短、适应性强、经济效益高等特点。为了研究开发这个作物,鹤壁市农科所从1984年陆续从河北省坝上引种油用亚麻,开展了南移试验研究工作,目的在于筛选适宜品种,总结配套栽培技术,提出在我省的适宜种植区域和充分利用春白地,以增加新的食油源。
