随着对外贸易的扩展,企业的英语网站逐渐成为展示企业实力和吸引外国客户,并且提供在线服务的重要途径。本文以翻译家纽马克提出的交际翻译理论为切入点,以“外宣三贴近”原则为指导,探讨了吉林省部分民营企业网站英语翻译中存在的问题,并提出一些建设性的对策和建议,从根本上改善民营企业网站的英语翻译质量,平衡掉翻译问题带来的损失和误解,提升企业形象。这对于吉林省民营企业的发展以及老工业基地的振兴具有重要意义。
With the expansion of foreign trade, the company’s English website has gradually become an important way to show the strength of enterprises and attract foreign customers, as well as to provide online services. Based on the translator Newmark’s communicative translation theory, this paper, guided by the principle of “publicizing the external publicity and approaching the public”, explores some problems in English translation of some private enterprises in Jilin Province and puts forward some constructive countermeasures And recommendations to fundamentally improve the English translation of private enterprise website quality, balance out the loss and misunderstanding caused by translation problems, enhance corporate image. This is of great significance to the development of private enterprises in Jilin Province and the revitalization of old industrial bases.
