同德牧场大面积种油菜是从六四年开始的。六五年以前亩产平均不到一百斤。有的地块还不到四十斤。六六年至七七年,产量有了明显提高,但仍徘徊在一百二十斤至一百八十斤之间。七八年由于各方面的措施比较落实,全场二万七千多亩油菜亩产达到了二百零五斤二两。其中二千六百七十亩达到二百七十斤以上,四亩九分试验田达到了三百五十七斤九两。这十五年,在发展油菜生产过程中,我们有以下几点体会:
