在总光通量标准荧光灯的检定工作中,为复现灯的量值,需对灯通电预热20分钟,而检定测试仅用3、4分钟,因此检定工作效率和灯的有效使用率都很低。为此,提出一种缩短灯的预热时间的方法,即用温箱或辐射等加热法对标准灯预热。用温箱加热时,加热温度比正常工作时荧光灯组表面最高温度的平均值略高几度为好。以一个40W荧光灯组为例,灯组中各灯工作时表面最高温度的平均值为42℃,温箱温度为48℃时,可在灯发光后4分钟内使光度稳定,然后就可进行检定测试。在实际检定中,也可将标准灯及被测灯都可置于温箱中预热。
