From 2000 to 2003, Japan’s domestic bonded magnet market has been affected by the accelerated shift in the production of rare earth magnets, and it is expected that the base price will decline at a rate of about 5.8% per year. The ferrite series does not yet have this tendency, but it is also migrating overseas. The recent decline in unit price is the primary reason. The rare earth series, especially since the beginning of 2000, has been accelerating its transfer to China and Southeast Asia. In order to survive in the rare earth magnet series, Japan will develop new applications not only for the NdFeB series but also for the Sm-FeN series in terms of bonded magnets. According to Japan Bonded Magnet Industry Association recently summarized
