改革开放以来,不少省、市党委宣传部门办起了内部性的宣传期刊。这类刊物通过传达上级精神、交流思想信息、探讨宣传业务等方式,指导党的宣传工作。宣传期刊与其他政治性期刊相比,最鲜明的特点,就在于它的指导性强。从指导工作这个基本目的出发,刊物上就要出现为数不少的领导讲话、文件摘要和工作提示等等内容。加强刊物的指导性是宣传期刊的性质决定的,既是刊物特定的读者群的要求,也是各级党委的期望。
Since the reform and opening up, many provincial and municipal party committee propaganda departments have run internal propaganda periodicals. Such publications guide the propaganda work of the party by conveying the spirit of the higher authorities, exchanging ideas and information, and discussing ways of propaganda and business. Compared with other political periodicals, the most distinctive feature of propaganda periodicals lies in its guiding force. Starting from the basic purpose of guiding work, there should be a large number of leading speeches, briefs and job tips on publications. Strengthening the guidance of a publication is determined by the nature of the publication of the journal, which is both a requirement of a specific audience of the publication and an expectation of the party committees at all levels.
