[《医学世界报导》2985年3月]根据美国霍华德大学的研究工作,认为术中单独一次大剂量放射治疗,对控制肿瘤的生长有如从体外长程低剂量放射治疗一样有效。术中放疗(intraoperative radiother-apy,IORT)与从体外照射有所不同,射线不需经过健康组织便能直达肿瘤部位,对邻近正常器官又可借遮盖保护而避免接受射线。1ORT 并非新方法,早在30年代中期美国斯坦福大学的外科医生已用于治疗腹部癌肿,但当时的改备不能把射线集中起来,致使周围健康组织亦接受到大剂量的射线.60年代中期日本学者也曾用来治疗数百例各种癌肿
[Medical World Report, March 2985] According to the research work of Howard University in the United States, it was considered that a single large-dose radiotherapy during surgery was effective in controlling the growth of tumors as long-term low-dose radiation therapy in vitro. Intraoperative radiotherapy (apharm) (IORT) is different from in vitro irradiation. Radiation does not need to pass through healthy tissue to reach the tumor site, and adjacent normal organs can be covered by protection and avoid radiation. 1ORT is not a new method. As early as the mid-1930s, surgeons at Stanford University in the United States had been used for the treatment of abdominal cancer. However, at the time of preparation, the radiation could not be concentrated, resulting in the surrounding healthy tissue also receiving large doses of radiation. Mid-1960s Japanese scholars have also used to treat hundreds of cases of various cancers
