This study investigated the histopathological and immunohistochemical changes of 19 lymph nodes in one HIV-positive boy. According to Stutte and other HIV-associated lymphadenopathy stage 5 classification, 84% of lymph nodes in stage III and IV, corresponding to clinical ARC / AIDS. Atrophy of lymphatic follicles, vascular proliferation, tissue cell proliferation and destruction of normal reticular fibrous scaffolds were found. Immunohistochemistry confirmed that the vast majority of residual lymphocytes are T cells. The normal distribution of S-100 positive cells is changed. Kil positive cells are mainly found in stage II lymph nodes. The significance of these changes is discussed in this article.
