以临钢炼钢厂1号板坯连铸机中间包的实际情况为研究对象,采用物理模拟和数学模拟相结合的研究方法,确定中间包内控流装置设置最佳方案。根据相似理论,在选择弗鲁德准数相似和实验模型与原型的几何相似比为0.5建立实验模型,进行物理模拟和数学模拟实验;并对中间包的内腔结构进行合理优化,优化后的中间包冶金效果明显,钢水流动状况较优化前得到较好改善,钢液流动合理,液面平稳且钢液温度更加均匀,钢液的平均停留时间延长,活塞流体积分率增加,夹杂物上浮指数提高,更有利于钢水的净化。
