那些在现有工厂加工不经济的,又不宜单建一常规工厂进行加工的矿石,称为低品位矿石。本报告将低品位铀矿石划为四类:(1)包在常规矿床之中,因而必须开采的低品位矿石。目前很多国家中多用堆浸法加工这类矿石,得到的浸出液或粗浓缩物送往就近工厂进一步加工。本报告介绍了这种堆浸法的几个主要特点。(2)储量少而品位高的矿石。这类矿石可用地下浸出法加工,不需任何大型设备。(3)中等储量中等品位的矿石。这类矿石可用快速堆浸法加工。本报告介绍了一个应用实例。(4)储量大而品位低的矿石。对这类矿石应给予足够的重视。本报告介绍了加工这种矿石的一些可能的途径。在多数情况下,可采用地下浸出法。本报告还讨论了使用地下浸出法的一些条件,特别是浸出剂的选择和矿床准备工作。矿床(?)备工作的目的是防止浸出剂漏入地下水系,并确保浸出剂与矿石有良好的接触。本报告中的一些结论留给专家小组讨论去做。尽管地下浸出法显得很有吸引力,但仍需因地制宜,并要做大量的实验工作来解决各种存在的问题。
Those in the existing factory processing uneconomical, it is not appropriate to build a regular factory for processing ore, known as low-grade ore. The report classifies low grade uranium ore into four categories: (1) low grade ore that has to be mined in conventional deposits. At present, many countries use heap leaching method for processing such ore, leaching solution or crude concentrate obtained for further processing at the nearest factory. This report describes several key features of this heap leaching method. (2) low reserves and high grade ore. This type of ore can be underground leaching process, without any large-scale equipment. (3) Moderate reserves of medium grade ore. This type of ore can be quickly heap leaching process. This report describes an application example. (4) large reserves of low-grade ore. This type of ore should be given sufficient attention. This report describes some possible ways of processing this ore. In most cases, underground leaching can be used. The report also discusses some conditions for the use of subsurface leaching methods, in particular the selection of leaching agents and deposit preparation. The purpose of the deposit (?) Preparation is to prevent the leachate from leaking into the groundwater system and to ensure good contact between the leaching agent and the ore. Some of the conclusions in this report are left for discussion by the panel of experts. Although the underground leaching method is very attractive, but still need to adapt to local conditions, and to do a lot of experimental work to solve various problems.
