隐喻能力作为一种可以发展的认知能力,是蕴藏在一定的文化之中的辨别、解释和创造隐喻的综合能力。隐喻能力对于创新思维、拓宽思路具有重要的认知作用。隐喻语言的认知、理解、创造以及学习者隐喻能力的培养应该成为大学英语教学的重要目标。因此,大学英语学习者隐喻能力的培养应着重从以下三个方面入手:注重隐喻的认知理解、培养学习者的语篇分析能力;注意收集隐喻表达、加强学习者的文化素养;大胆运用隐喻表达、开拓学习者的创新思维。
Metaphorical ability, as a kind of cognitive ability that can be developed, is a comprehensive ability to distinguish, explain and create metaphors embedded in a certain culture. Metaphorical ability has an important cognitive function to creative thinking and broaden thinking. The cultivation of metaphorical language cognition, understanding, creation and learner metaphorical ability should become the important goal of college English teaching. Therefore, the cultivation of college English learners’ metaphorical competence should focus on the following three aspects: paying attention to the cognitive comprehension of metaphor and cultivating learners’ ability of discourse analysis; paying attention to collecting metaphorical expressions and enhancing learners’ cultural accomplishments; Expression, pioneering learners innovative thinking.
