张华腾教授多年来致力于袁世凯与北洋历史的研究工作,成就卓著。《北洋集团崛起研究(1895-1911)》是他的又一部力作。展卷细读,收获颇丰。笔者愚见,略略谈些读后感。窃以为,北洋集团崛起与袁世凯注重新式教育是此书字里行间闪烁的亮点。笔者不揣冒昧,将书中有关史实加以汇集以说明之。而在此之前,则有感于作者不囿于成见,秉笔直书,先发一点小小的感慨。 Professor Zhang Huateng has devoted himself to the research work of Yuan Shikai and the history of the Northern Ocean for many years and has achieved outstanding achievements. “Beiyang Group Rise Research (1895-1911)” is another of his masterpiece. Exhibits detailed reading rewarding. I humble opinion, a little talk about some sense of reading. The theft is that the rise of Beiyang Group and Yuan Shikai’s focus on new education are the twinkling highlights in this book. The author does not try to guess what to do with the facts in the book. Prior to this, however, the author felt that he did not hesitate on prejudices, upright books, starting a little emotion.
