课堂是教学活动的最主要场所,教学的成败关键在课堂,地理教师应该积极探讨如何组织课堂教学,才能达到最好的教学效果。那种教师整堂课讲学生在教室里听的“满堂灌”的教学方法已被实践证明是落后的、陈旧的。美国著名心理学家布鲁纳说:“学习者不应是信息的被动接受者,而是知识获取的主动参者。”地理教师在教学过程中,应坚持师生共同学习、共同探讨和共同参与,充分发挥学生的主动性,让学生积极主动地参与到地理课堂教学活动中来。建立一个师生互动、轻松愉快的地理课堂教学,才能激发学生的学习兴趣、提高教学质量和体现新课程教学改革的思想。
