The structures of the nuclei on the alpha-decay chain of ~(194)Rn are investigated in the deformed relativisticmean-field theory with the effective interaction TMA.We put an emphasis on the ground state properties of ~(194)Rn.The calculated alpha-decay energies and lifetimes are both very close to the experimental data for ~(186)Pb and ~(190)Po.For~(194)Rn,the deviations are a little large on both the alpha-decay energy and the lifetime.We also calculate the alpha-decayenergies for the isotopes ~(192~208)Rn.The tendency for the change of the alpha-decay energies with neutron number iscorrectly reproduced in the relativistic mean-field theory (RMF).In general,the RMF theory can give a good descriptionof the alpha decay chain of ~(194)Rn.
