3. Contrast between useful education and fun education At the beginning, I should explain what is meant by diverting education or “fun” education. What impressed me was the outstanding thinking stories in the Open Court outline that I mentioned in the elementary education stage. The scenarios described in these stories are almost all virtual. Nevertheless, these scenarios can arouse children’s interest and attract them to think about the issues raised in the story. In the higher stages of education, one can refer to questions raised by Lewis Carroll or Caliban, as well as the ones commonly seen in the Sunday newspaper in the United Kingdom.
