1985年9月,双城市单城镇政才村村民佟海在政才村东南约500米的一个土坑边取土时,于距地表50厘米深处发现一处钱币窖藏,出土铜钱约200公斤。双城市文物管理所闻讯赶赴出土现场进行了考察,认定这是一处金代钱币窖藏,出土的钱币除少量散失外,绝大部分回收。现经整理,简报如下。单城镇政才村位于双城市东南方向约20公里,钱币出土地点在政才村东南方向约500米处。地表暴露有大量的布纹瓦残片及砖、石碎块等建筑材料,间杂有灰褐色轮制陶片、黄白色的瓷片等
