意大利最大国防和航空航天企业——芬梅卡尼卡集团董事长兼首席执行官朱塞佩·奥尔西于2月12日被逮捕,罪名是在向印度政府出售直升机项目中涉嫌行贿。逮捕令由位于米兰附近的布斯托阿西齐奥市一家法院签发,芬梅卡尼卡集团被认为为确保向印度出售12架直升机行贿5100万欧元。芬梅卡尼卡集团旗下的阿古斯塔韦斯特兰直升机公司执行董事布鲁·斯帕尼奥利尼已被控制。此外,涉嫌在这一事件中扮演中间人的两名瑞士人也已被逮捕。
Giuseppe Orsi, chairman and chief executive of Finmeccanica, the largest defense and aerospace company in Italy, was arrested on February 12 on charges of bribing him for selling helicopters to the Indian government. The arrest warrant was issued by a court in the city of Busto Assisi near Milan, which is believed to pay 51 million euros to secure the sale of 12 helicopters to India. Breu Spaniolini, managing director of the AgustaWestland Helicopters, a Finmeccanica group, has been controlled. In addition, two Swiss suspected of playing the middleman in the incident have also been arrested.
