奇台民变新疆奇台县(今奇台县的老奇台)回、汉农民反抗加征官粮的斗争。清政府为镇压太平天国革命运动,减少了拨解新疆的协饷。咸丰四年(1854)乌鲁木齐都统通令镇迪道各属加征粮石。奇台县屯田户民原先每户交纳官粮十二石,政府采买四石。县令恒颐下令交纳官粮十六石,引起农民的反抗,旋被平息。见佚名:《行乌文稿》抄本;曾毓秀:《平回志》7。(纪大椿)
Qitai people change Xinjiang Qitai County (now Qitai County’s old odd Taiwan) back, the Han Chinese resistance against extra government official grain struggle. The Qing government suppressed the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom revolutionary movement and reduced its contribution to Xinjiang. Xianfeng four years (1854) Urumqi, all Tongdudi Road, Zhendi Road, all plus grain grain.
