Reinforced concrete column and shear wall in the basement of a building in Anyang City, Henan Province. After demolishing the mold, it was found that the concrete had no strength. After 2 days of air drying, the surface was still wet and yellow. Initially doubted the quality of the cement used, and all remaining cement was shut down. An inspection by the Anyang Technical Supervision Bureau ruled out the possibility of cement quality problems. After sampling and testing at the Anyang City Construction Engineering Quality Testing Center Station, it was initially determined that there was excessive use of a slow-setting water-reducing agent (sodium lignosulfonate) at the time of construction.
