从甘蓝型油菜品种中油821中发现的天然雄性不育株,经测交、姊妹交、不育株自交及异地穿梭育种等方法选育而来的生态型隐性胞核雄性不育材料H90S,是不同于原双隐性基因控制的隐性核不育材料(117A、S45A等)的一种新型胞核不育材料。经5年9代选育,已得到全不育株行,并有两年的重演性。其育性受环境条件影响,其中主要受花芽分化期光照时数及花芽分化至初花期活动积温控制,可以异地夏播繁殖、本地秋播正季制种。
