小麦作为中国的第二大粮食作物,是城乡居民的主要口粮,全国年消费量约1.05亿t,占全球消费量的20%左右。中国小麦的丰歉直接关系到国内的粮食安全,影响着国际粮食市场。近几年,以抗旱、节水为主要特点的小麦新品种选育成为种业科研的重点和热点。阎良农业新品种试验站以西安522作父本、以西安521作母本,通过精心选育杂交,系统选育成功培育出抗旱、节水的小麦新品种“西郭2122”。
As the second largest grain crop in China, wheat is the main rations of urban and rural residents. The annual consumption of wheat is about 105 million tons, accounting for about 20% of global consumption. The apology of China’s wheat is directly related to the domestic food security and affects the international grain market. In recent years, drought-resistant, water-saving features of the new wheat breeding has become the focus of industry research and hot spots. Yanliang New Variety Experiment Station took Xi’an 522 as the male parent and Xi’an 521 as the female parent and successfully breed “Xi Guo 2122”, a drought-resistant and water-saving new wheat variety through careful breeding and cross breeding.
