新课程改革越来越突出学生的英语口语,其目标是培养学生综合语言运用能力。口语教学是外语教学中非常重要的一个环节,听说领先,读写跟上是英语教学的一项重要原则,让每个学生开口说英语是英语教学的首要任务。但现实中,许多学生口语表达能力与课标中的要求有较大差距。这就要求教师和学生在教学活动中,将原来以教师为中心转化为以学生为中心,将以课堂为中心扩展到以生活为基础,将以知识为中心发展到以能力综合为准则,创设最佳的语言环境,采用最好的教学形式,追求最高的教学效果,使每一个学生在打好坚实的口语基础上,学好英语文化知识,以增强每一个学生的综合素质。
