许多工程车辆中动力转向采用转向外助力,外助力是动力转向最早采用的型式,其特点是转向器与转向助力器是分开的。转向外助力系统的组成和内助力系统一样,由液压泵、助力器、油箱和管路等组成。转向助力器是其主要部件。转向助力器大都采用液压型式,利用滑阀在缸内的移动控制液压油的流进和流出并产生压力,使缸简相对活塞作伸长和收缩运动,达到左右转向的目的。 日本三菱NK-302型汽车起重机采用转向外助力,它的前桥为双前桥,都是转向桥。这种汽车的转向机构很复杂,因而,在其维修中在许多细节上都有很高的要求。下面就拆卸、检查和装配中应注意的一些事项加以说明。
