澳大利亚著名教练丹尼斯·科特瑞尔(Denis Cotterell)曾于2000年和2004年两次出任澳大利亚奥运会游泳队主教练,他的最有名的弟子是澳大利亚著名游泳运动员哈克特(Grant George Hackett),2000年悉尼奥运会以及2004年雅典奥运会1500米自由泳金牌得主,1997年到2007年十年来男子游泳长距离项目的统治者。在中国游泳队“走出去、请进来”的指导思想下,包括我国著名游泳运动员张琳在内的许多国家队队员都曾接受他的指导。本文作者作为科研人员,通过与丹尼斯的交流以及现场的观察,对丹尼斯的执教艺术、执教方法、执教手段等作了总结、汇集,希望能为我国游泳界教练员、运动员提供参考。
