目的了解唐山市不同大气污染区小学生因病缺课情况,探讨小学生因病缺课率作为反映大气污染影响人群健康的监测指标的可行性。方法在唐山市工业区、清洁区、商业区、交通区共选取1 332名小学生为研究对象,进行因病缺课率调查。结果在均衡了4区小学生的个人生理因素、家庭因素和室内空气污染因素后,工业区、商业区、交通区、清洁区因病缺课率分别为32.6%,30.2%,40.1%,24.8%(P<0.01)。结论大气污染可导致小学生因病缺课率增高。小学生因病缺课率可以作为反映大气污染影响人群健康的监测指标。
Objective To understand the absenteeism due to illness among primary school students in different air pollution areas in Tangshan City and to explore the feasibility of primary school absenteeism rate as a monitoring index reflecting the health of people affected by air pollution. Methods A total of 1 332 pupils were chosen as research subjects in Tangshan Industrial Park, clean area, commercial area and traffic area to investigate the absenteeism rate. Results After balance of personal physiological factors, family factors and indoor air pollution factors of pupils in 4 districts, the absenteeism rates in industrial areas, commercial areas, traffic areas and clean areas were 32.6%, 30.2%, 40.1% and 24.8% respectively, (P <0.01). Conclusions Air pollution can lead to an increase in absenteeism among primary school students. Pupils due to sick absence rate can be used as a reflection of the health indicators of air pollution affect the population.
