Frame Relay technology is a mature high-speed packet switching technology, and ATM technology is the future direction of high-speed network development. This paper introduces the basic concepts of Frame Relay and ATM technology, discusses and compares the two, and emphatically analyzes the technologies and methods of the interconnection between the two.
