In modern diesel locomotives, the traction motors are usually paralleled, and all the parallel branches can be compensated for current without any special measures. According to technical regulations, the motor current is close to continuous, the current distribution in the whole field of non-uniformity does not exceed 8%, while in the weak magnetic field does not exceed 20%.
