9月21日上午,北京’95亚洲民俗周开幕式在北京世界公园亚洲景区前隆重举行。全国政协副主席吴学谦、国家旅游局局长刘毅、北京市市长李其炎等有关领导,亚洲10余个国家和地区的表演团,部分驻京外国使节及中外宾客4000多人出席。 为配合’95中国民俗风情游,经北京市政府批准,北京市旅游局于9月21日至27日在北京举办’95亚洲民俗周活动。该活动以民间交流为主题,通过旅游形式邀请亚洲10余个国家和地区的民间团体来京参加独具特色的民间风俗、音乐舞蹈、工艺品展示等活动。 举办这次活动,旨在充分利用旅游业这个窗口,向亚洲及世界各国人民展示北京安定祥和的社会环境,展示北京作为国际旅游大城市的巨大潜力,也为北京旅游业扩大宣传影响,拓展国际旅游市场,创造一个良好契机。国家旅游局把此项活动作为’95中国民俗风情游重头戏之一。
On the morning of September 21, the opening ceremony of the ’95 Asian Folk Week in Beijing was held in front of the Asia World Park in Beijing. Wu Xueqian, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Liu Yi, director of the National Tourism Administration, and Li Qiyan, mayor of Beijing, as well as performing groups from over 10 countries and regions in Asia, some foreign envoys in Beijing and more than 4,000 guests from home and abroad attended the forum. In line with the ’95 China Folk Customs Tour, approved by the Beijing Municipal Government, Beijing Tourism Bureau held the ’95 Asian Folk Week in Beijing from September 21 to 27. With the theme of non-governmental exchanges, the event invited non-governmental organizations in more than 10 countries and regions in Asia to participate in activities such as unique folk customs, music and dance, handicrafts display and so on through the form of tourism. The event aims to make full use of this window of tourism to showcase the peaceful and stable social environment of Beijing to the peoples of Asia and the rest of the world and to showcase the great potential of Beijing as a major international tourism city and to expand the publicity impact of Beijing’s tourism industry and expand international cooperation Tourism market, to create a good opportunity. The National Tourism Administration takes this activity as one of the highlights of the ’95 China Folk Custom Tour.
