The use of necessary vague language in middle school chemistry textbooks is an important aspect of making chemistry textbooks in middle schools scientific and rigorous. The complexity of chemical research objects, the level of recognition of middle school students, and their characteristics all determine the concepts, terms, principles, and laws of chemistry in middle schools, and have outstanding relativity. Many of the content descriptions, accurate language are incompetent, only vague language can be competent. For example, the concept of basic oxides is described as an extension of the concept that “metal oxides are mostly basic oxides.” “It is scientifically rigorous and very regulated.”
