I. INTRODUCTION NASA Lewis Research Center measured the recovery correction, radiation correction and time constant of several thermocouple probes by the test method. The purpose of the test is to standardize the structure, size and error checking of the thermocouple probe. The standardization of error checking can reduce the cost of the sensor.
