苏联研制成功用激光去除水面的油污染。这种方法是用激光使石油的油膜蒸发或烧毁。燃烧在水面上的石油的方法,以前也作过尝试,但用普通的方法效果较差。这是因为热量的大部分逸散到水中,相当厚的一层水和油膜一起被加热,于是就不可能把石油加热到使之蒸发或燃烧。用激光可以聚集膨大数量的热能,它在液体中的吸收深度较小。激光的全部能量可以吸收在1/1000厘米的厚度内,热量不会逸散到水中。欲去掉油膜,有几种方法。蒸发的方法是有效的,它无须太强的激光。随着强度的增加,油膜的表层开始冒烟、燃烧。在油膜厚的场合,这种方法效果较好。比它更有效果的方法是使石油跃出到水面上。
The Soviet Union successfully developed a laser to remove oil pollution on the surface. This method uses a laser to vaporize or burn the oil film. The method of burning oil on the surface of water has also been tried before, but the ordinary method is less effective. This is because most of the heat escapes into the water, and a relatively thick layer of water is heated with the oil film, making it impossible to heat the oil until it evaporates or burns. Laser can be used to gather a large number of thermal energy, it is less in the liquid absorption depth. The total energy of the laser can be absorbed in the thickness of 1/1000 cm, the heat will not escape into the water. There are several ways to remove the oil film. Evaporation method is effective, it does not need too much laser. As the intensity increases, the surface of the film begins to smoke and burn. In the case of thick film, this method works better. More effective than this is to get the oil out of the water.
