我市辖七县两区,总人口846万,农村人口占80％以上,解决好对全市近670多万农村人口的卫生服务,是坚持农村医疗卫生工作方针,始终把握为大多数人服务的卫生工作方向的根本问题。村卫生站是农村三级卫生网的基础,广大农民的防病、治病工作和初级卫生保健的实施,主要通过村卫生站来完成。因此,村卫生站在发展农村卫生事业中占有举足轻重的地位。
