2008年下半年,经济危机的阴霾横扫全球,对航空货运行业的负面影响初露端倪。从2008年11月开始,航空货运停止了增长,步入了下降的通道。欧洲航空货运业的几大行业巨头受到了最严重的冲击。一年前,他们中的大多数曾经认为可以凭借强大的网络和业务量的支撑渡过难关,虽然经营会受到影响,但是至少不会偏离正常的轨道。但时至今日,当那些行业巨头开始实施新的战略部署时,我们才发现:由于在危机中饱受重创,现在这些公司必须做出大幅的关键性调整,以确保今后能够健康运营。
In the second half of 2008, when the shadow of the economic crisis swept the world, the negative impact on the air cargo industry was on the horizon. Beginning in November 2008, air cargo stopped growing and entered a declining channel. Several major industry giants in Europe’s air cargo industry have suffered the most serious impact. A year ago, most of them used to think that they could weather the storm with their strong network and business volume, and although the operation would be affected, they would at least not deviate from the normal track. But as of today, when those giants in the industry are embarking on a new strategic deployment, we find that due to the devastation they have suffered in the crisis, these companies now have to make major, key changes to ensure healthy operations in the future.
