That is another kind of existence: When bringing up a new textbook, the complexity, difficulty, and profound thinking of its gestation and birth process are sometimes richer and richer than the works themselves. It is a hidden world. In the teaching, because the teachers and students have deeper understanding of it, they sometimes do not even think of the author when writing. To this end, starting from this issue, the new “face to face” section has gradually invited some of the authors of the new textbooks to come in close contact with the teachers and students, or ask them to write background materials for the works, select related links, or invite them. Answer difficult questions in the work; or publish brilliant abstracts of lesson plans for teachers, as well as articles from different perspectives on different understandings of the articles, so that new textbooks can be explored in more depth and masterly. In this issue, the famous poet Niu Han, Prof. Shen Zhiyuan and Prose writer Zhou Peihong were invited. The work they selected for the new textbook was: “Missing a Maple Tree,” “Saying Numbers,” “Woman like a Mother.” --editor
