实现刀具的精确数量进给是进行超精密切削加工的重要条件之一.特别是对于要求较长距离精确定位的超精加工机床,若采用粗、精、微三级进刀系统,既可以使机床具有快速趋近的功能,同时可用微量进刀机构的精微进给,补偿粗、精进给所产生的位移误差,而使机床的进刀系统在整个行程范围内,具有与微量进刀机构同一数量级的精度.要达到这一目的,必须首先对实际刀具位移量进行自动测量,此外,借助微处理机进行适时快速的分析与控制,即对微量进刀机构进行闭环控制.
