Laser beam epitaxy promotes growth of superconducting thin films At Otsuka University, a technology has been developed that uses laser beam epitaxy to grow high-temperature superconducting thin films of 150-170 K CaSo (CuO ;.). The technology has a discontinuous interface to produce single-layer deposition control at the atomic level.
