《禁毒法》实施以来,通过强制隔离戒毒的手段对强戒人员进行戒毒,效果十分显著。但是,相当一部分强戒人员绞尽脑汁,不惜采用吞食异物的手段试图逃避强戒,从而引起了效仿的不良影响,以致于当地治安案件发案率居高不下。为此,几年来,山西省戒毒管理局联合公安机关分别在北部、中部和南部多次开展了集中收治吞食异物强戒人员的专项行动,由此,地方“两盗一抢”案件下降了60%,此举受到地方公安机关和当地群众的一致好评。但相当数量吞食异物强戒人员进入司法强制隔离戒毒场
