On November 11, the maximum power generation capacity of wind power in Jilin Power Grid reached 1 387 MW, setting another record high. In recent years, Jilin Province has witnessed rapid development of wind power, with an installed capacity of 1,909 MW, accounting for 13.75% of Jilin’s direct-installed capacity. As a clean renewable energy, wind power plays a crucial role in our country’s goal of energy-saving and emission reduction. However, wind power’s randomness, intermittency and anti-peak-to-peak characteristics give the power grid peak regulation and frequency modulation
