本文分析了目前国内影响He-Ne管寿命的主要问题:冷阴极的吸气、放气和溅射;窗口粘结剂的放气和慢漏;玻璃去气和温度时间关系;清洗溶液的杂质影响;He的逃逸作用等等.设计了四种不同结构的He-Ne管,对上述因素分别进行测量.用质谱分析法对杂质气体进行了测试,实验结果指出:影响He-Ne管寿命的主要原因是环氧的慢放气和慢漏,以及铝冷阴极的放气和溅射,其它因素在一般常规工艺流程中可认为是次要的.影响He-Ne管寿命的主要杂质气体为H_2,当含有1/100托的成份时可导致He-Ne激光的猝灭.用单色仪观察了这些管子,发现环氧窗口的He-Ne管基本上都有H_α(6563埃)和H_β(4861埃)谱线存
