现行全日制培智学校数学教材在现行教材自身存在着一些不足,主要体现在以下几点:首先是教学内容单调,教具学具贫乏,很难激发智力障碍学生的学习兴趣;其二是缺少给学生操作和活动的空间,使智力障碍学生的数学课堂变得机械枯燥;其三是数学学习与学生生活严重脱节;其四是教材明显沿袭普小多次课改前的系统逻辑结构,没有及时优化,未能考虑到智力障碍学生的特点;其五是教材忽视与其他学科知识的联系;其六是教材仍是20世纪90年代初的版本,许多知识已经不能满足时代的需求等。虽然教材中存在着这些不足,但只要教师创造性地运用教材,还是可以使教材发挥一定作用。

Although these shortcomings exist in the teaching materials, as long as the teachers creatively use the teaching materials, they can still make the teaching materials play a role.
