随着GSM网络的不断发展,用户数和话务密度不断增大,每个位置区内的话务量也不断增加,这将会对位置区的设置和管理提出新的要求,因此合理划分LAC边界不仅对均衡话务及信令的负荷很重要,而且对提升网络指标和寻呼成功率、提高网络接通率、降低测试过程中未接通及掉话事件发生概率都有至关重要的作用。结合实际案例提出了GSM网络LAC划分方法。
